Delivering Christmas cards for vulnerable in the community

In the spirit of giving, Eaves Funeral Service is making sure everyone in Whitehaven feels the joy of Christmas. They’ve set up postboxes in Kells, Seacliffe, Woodhouse, and Greenbank for residents facing mobility issues or financial constraints to drop off Christmas cards.

Residents can leave their addressed cards at postboxes in High Road Store, Seacliffe Pharmacy, Budgens, and Premier Express. Eaves Funeral Service will collect the cards on December 15th and deliver them over the weekend, ensuring everyone gets their festive greetings in time for Christmas.

Mike Jolly, Business Principal at Eaves, shared, “We wanted to help those who can’t deliver their cards. These greetings mean so much, especially for those who are ill or housebound. Let’s make this Christmas special for everyone!”
